Title of the Talk:

The Autonomous Enterprise: A System of Systems Powered by Agents

Abstract:

Enterprises are entering a new architectural era—one where intelligence is no longer embedded within individual applications, but operates across them. AI agents are emerging as the connective tissue of the modern enterprise, capable of reasoning over goals, orchestrating workflows, and acting across disparate systems in real time.

This keynote explores the rise of the autonomous enterprise as a true “system of systems,” where CRM, ERP, data platforms, and internal tools are no longer isolated silos, but components dynamically coordinated by agents. Unlike traditional software, these systems are not bound by predefined workflows—they adapt, learn, and execute based on intent.

We will examine how this shift is redefining enterprise architecture: from deterministic processes to goal-driven execution, from tightly coupled integrations to flexible orchestration layers, and from human-operated systems to human-supervised autonomy. Key themes include multi-agent collaboration, secure and governed autonomy, and the evolving role of humans as orchestrators of intelligent systems.

As organizations move beyond experimentation into production, the challenge is no longer building AI—but designing systems that can harness it reliably at scale. The enterprises that succeed will be those that rethink not just their technology stack, but the very model of how work gets done.

The autonomous enterprise is not a distant vision—it is an architectural transition already underway.
