Title of the Talk:
The Data Beneath the Intelligence: Building the Foundation for Trustworthy, Autonomous AI
Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence is increasingly being deployed in high-stakes industries such as healthcare, finance, and critical infrastructure. However, many real-world failures in AI systems are not caused by flawed algorithms, but by issues in the underlying data—ranging from poor quality and inconsistencies to security vulnerabilities and lack of transparency.
This keynote explores why the foundation of trustworthy AI begins at the data layer. Drawing from large-scale enterprise experience supporting over 25,000 production databases globally, the session highlights three key challenges behind most AI failures today: poor data quality, weak data security, and limited auditability. It also examines how modern autonomous data platforms address these challenges through automation, built-in security, and unified data governance.
The talk further presents real-world examples across industries and outlines a practical framework for building reliable and accountable AI systems. It concludes with key considerations for organizations and policymakers to ensure that AI is deployed responsibly, with strong foundations that prioritize data integrity, security, and transparency.
